XBintegrator5 allows you to pick up data wherever it can be found, whether it be nicely prepared XML data, structured data stored in database tables and spreadsheets or unstructured data, to be retrieved in e-mails or datastreams from legacy applications. XBintegrator can even captate data from devices such as scanners, weighing bridges or badge readers.

There is an ample range of data conversion options to further prepare the collected data for document generation, such as unzip, unsign, decode, transform and translate. After collection and convertion, your data, including its metadata is ready to be merged into documents.

Document templates are designed  using the XBintegrator Template Designer (td). Template Designer allows you to make your own templates directly in Microsoft Word 2003/2007, Microsoft Excel 2003/2007 or OpenOffice.org 3 and drag and drop XML elements into the right position. All your templates are stored into XBintegrator’s central repository and are ready to be called upon.

After the merger of data and template, the resulting documents can be saved as a variety of different file formats, like pdf, doc(x), xls(x), odt, rtf, xml, bmp, plc, etcetera. Documents can be stored individually or in document groups.

You can automatically send them to any common document management solution, print them, e-mail them as an attachment, post them to a website, or render them to any file form at so that they can be used as input for further processing.

Pre and post processing flows can be defined by means of document flow wizards or by means of XBsript2.0
