Back to overview

To reflect the strategic direction of our products and to provide you a wider product range in the future, we decided to rename XB/400 into XBintegrator.

This year we will announce XBintegrator on other platforms like PC, Unix and Mainframe.

All existing customer contracts remain the same! There is only a name-change.
Please send questions and remarks about contracts to: sales@invenso.com.

XBintegrator base edition:
This version is the new bundle of all XB/400 light version functionalities. XBintegrator base edition is mainly focused on the data import and export without the extended communication features. This version is not optimized for high volume transactions.

XBintegrator extended edition:
This version is the new bundle of all XB/400 full version functionalities and the base version of XB.net, without additional connectors. XBintegrator extended edition has an extended set of instructions to perform data communication outside the iSeries and is more optimized for high volume transactions.

The extended edition offers in addition to the base edition:

  • integration with Websphere MQ.
  • a JMS bridge.
  • native-IO database access.
  • an extensive ZIP function.
  • extensive IFS directory and file management.
  • e-mail integration.
  • socket communication.
  • optimized server functions for XSLT.
  • XSL-FO PDF generation.
  • polling processes.
  • and a lot more.

With the XBintegrator extended edition you can add more functionality towards PC resources with our bridging modules:

Database gateway:
The database gateway is an optional component to make data on external databases available for your iSeries applications. Databases running on pc, Linux, Unix or other platforms are now addressable from within your iSeries applications.
PC system and resource manager:
The PC system and resource manager is an optional component to start, stop and monitor PC applications from within your iSeries applications. SNMP spiders offers, in addition, all necessary information about the network installed components in order to manage, load balance, recover and inventory of all network components.
IP protocol extender:
The IP protocol extender is an optional component to offer full access to the most used IP protocols in order to deliver data from your iSeries system to another party. This includes complete process control and intervention in case of anomalies. With the IP protocol extender you can establish a Telnet connection over batch, send and receive a post-request to a HTTP or HTTPS server and via an FTP engine you can call FTP instructions as individual monitored instructions.
