Timeline
With both more than 15 years experience in the IBM iSeries world, and successfully completed many data exchange and integration projects, Vincent Van der Linden en Rudy Vanhille, start their own company Invenso in 2002. What started with the XB/400, a middleware tool for data exchange and application integration on iSeries, evolved to an extensive product suite completed in 2004. Already here, Invenso has chosen the path towards a platform independent solution. In 2006, the development of XBintegrator Service Bus, a solution enabler based on ESB and SOA technology was completed.
Development of XBintegrator Version 4
In 1999, we started with the development of version 1 of our software. The on SOA and ESB based XBintegrator version 4 was developed by a team of an average of 6 own programmers that almost have developed for 3 years, which means about 18 years development. For the development we have received in 2004 an innovation support from the IWT Flanders (Institute for the encouragement of innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders).
XBintegrator customers – company size
Invenso sells XBintegrator to an international market, concerning a broad spectrum of industries, going from medium to large profit and nonprofit organizations. Nevertheless we emphasize that thanks to the scalability in functionality and price, also smaller companies (SME from 50 employees) can use our product with a high ROI – return on investment.

The most of our customers are established in Europe, with a strong presence in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. To a lesser degree, our customers are located in Spain, France, Turkey and Italy. We also have some customers in the USA and Australia.
