Astra Sweets produces several kinds of high quality candy. The mother company is located in Turnhout (Belgium). Futhermore, Astra Sweets has production locations in Breda and Harlingen (the Netherlands). Over the years, Astra Sweets has grown from a small company according to traditional methods to a company with advanced prodution and packaging machines.

The assortment of candy consists of various gums, licorice, pepper mints, and lots of other candy sold worldwide. Astra Sweets is known for its flexibility and renewal of its assortment.

Challenge and solution

At Astra Sweets, XBintegrator is used to send the invoices to Carrefour. Their ERP system, based on Oracle, prints invoices by means of Oracle forms. Tanks to the XBintegrator they were able to translate the forms into XML documents ready (with the necessary certificates) to send out to Carrefour.
