Invenso originally started off in 2002 as a software vendor with a middleware toolkit for IBM AS/400 data exchange and application integration. Over the years this toolkit has evolved to become a platform independent SOA based software development and integration platform, using its own XML-based scripting language to make multitier solution development a lot faster and easier.

Invenso products have been adopted by partners and end users in Europe, the UK, the United States and Australia, active in a wide range of vertical sectors.  The products are mainly used for application development and integration, electronic document generation, legacy application optimization and SaaS enablement.
